Site Selection
Evaluate potential facility locations using operational, logistical, regulatory, utility, labor, incentive, supplier, customer proximity, zoning, and environmental criteria before committing to land or real estate.
Choose the right location with confidence before capital is committed. Hixson’s Site Selection & Land Consulting Services help Food & Beverage, Pharma & Biotech, Laboratory, and Workplace clients evaluate utilities, logistics, labor markets, zoning, environmental constraints, incentives, and long-term facility growth needs across North America.

Integrated consulting for land, infrastructure, compliance, logistics, and future facility growth decisions.
Evaluate potential facility locations using operational, logistical, regulatory, utility, labor, incentive, supplier, customer proximity, zoning, and environmental criteria before committing to land or real estate.
Assess capital project priorities, facility benchmarks, operational efficiency, capacity utilization, and deployment strategies to support better location and investment decisions across specialized industries.
Define a long-term physical and operational roadmap for campuses and facilities, including expansion capacity, site circulation, logistics, utilities, workflow, compliance, and phased capital planning.
Identify air, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, SPCC, zoning, and discharge compliance considerations that may influence site feasibility, commissioning schedules, and expansion risk.
Integrate environmental, health, safety, combustible dust, hazardous materials, OSHA, and process safety requirements into early site and facility planning rather than correcting issues later.
Review mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, civil, utility, and site infrastructure requirements to determine whether a location can support planned operations.

Hixson begins by clarifying process needs, capacity targets, utility demands, logistics requirements, regulatory drivers, labor considerations, and long-term expansion plans so every candidate site is measured against business-critical criteria.
