Pretreatment and treatment system design for high-strength process waste streams, including equalization, biological treatment, DAF, sludge handling, discharge permitting, and POTW compliance.
Engineering for dairy processing wastewater with high BOD/COD, FOG, nutrients, and sanitizer chemistry, using DAF, equalization, biological treatment, sludge dewatering, and permit-focused design.
Pretreatment and treatment solutions for meat and poultry operations addressing BOD/COD, FOG, proteins, solids, pathogens, sludge management, USDA FSIS considerations, and EPA discharge compliance.
Wastewater systems for pharmaceutical and biotech facilities addressing API residuals, solvents, cleaning chemistry, high-purity water blowdown, neutralization, advanced oxidation, and cGMP-aware compliance.
Water conservation and reuse engineering, including water balance audits, rinse recovery, CIP reuse, cooling tower optimization, RO concentrate recovery, and closed-loop system integration.
Permitting support for wastewater discharge, stormwater, air emissions, hazardous waste, and SPCC planning, integrated early with facility design to reduce compliance retrofits.

We begin by reviewing production operations, utility demands, discharge limits, water costs, and expansion plans. For Texas facilities, this often includes evaluating drought resilience, municipal capacity constraints, and TCEQ or local POTW requirements.
